Pakistan officially held India responsible for school bus bombing in Khuzdar on Wednesday after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta and inquired after the children injured in the Khuzdar blast, expressing sorrow over the loss of young lives.

They were accompanied by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. The high-level delegation met the injured children, with eight reportedly in critical condition.

A statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, issued after PM Shehbaz Sharif’s one-day visit to Quetta following the incident, said, “Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will relentlessly pursue all those involved in this barbaric act.

“The architects, abettors, and enablers of this crime will be held accountable and brought to justice and the truth about India’s cunning role, a real perpetrator of terrorism but feigns as a victim, stands exposed before the world.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the children and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. He stated that the entire nation stands with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, urging a united and firm resolve against terrorism. He condemned those acting as Indian proxies for terrorism, calling them a stain on Baloch and Pashtun values.

The Prime Minister also urged the international community to take notice of India’s acts of terrorism. Field Marshal Asim Munir condemned the targeting of children, calling it an extreme act of cowardice. He vowed that those responsible for the Khuzdar attack would be brought to justice.
