Sea breeze provides some relief amid heatwave in Karachi
Karachi is experiencing a persistent heatwave, with extremely hot and humid conditions.
The Meteorological Office forecasts today’s maximum temperature to reach 36 degrees Celsius, but high humidity levels make it feel three to four degrees warmer.
Sea breezes are blowing at speeds of 15 to 25 kilometers per hour, providing some relief from the heat.
The heatwave is also affecting most areas of Sindh, although a reduction in heat intensity is expected starting tomorrow.
