Rain and hailstorms expected in parts of Balochistan, predicts Met Office
The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted rain, hailstorms, and strong winds in several areas of Balochistan.
Many regions, including Kalat, Sibi, Barkhan, Kohlu, Qila Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Nushki, and Musakhel, are likely to experience rainfall under partly cloudy skies.
Officials said rain and hail may hit Quetta, Chaman, Ziarat, Barkhan, Sibi, Kohlu, Qila Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Nushki, Harnai, Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar, Kalat, Kharan, Lasbela, Panjgur, and Chaghi.
However, some of the mentioned places may also face heavy rain and hail with strong winds.
The maximum recorded temperatures for today include Quetta 34 degrees Celsius, Kalat 29 degrees Celsius, Ziarat 22 degrees Celsius, Zhob 32 degrees Celsius, Sibi 43 degrees Celsius, Turbat 41 degrees Celsius, Nokundi 43 degrees Celsius, Chaman 32 degrees Celsius, and Gwadar 34 degrees Celsius.
