Gold prices break all previous records, reach all-time high in Pakistan
Gold prices have shattered all previous records in both international and local markets.
In Karachi, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs8,600, reaching a dangerous level of Rs348,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs7,373, hitting Rs298,353.
On the international front, gold prices also witnessed a significant spike, with the per ounce rate climbing by $86 to a record high of $3,310.
Experts attribute this surge to global economic uncertainty, ongoing tensions in the Middle East, and fluctuations in the dollar’s value, all of which have pushed investors towards gold.
This rapid price rise has set off alarm bells for jewellery buyers, while investors are seizing the golden opportunity.
