Teenager creates AI app that diagnoses heart disease in seconds
A 14-year-old student from Dallas, USA, Siddharth Nandyala, has developed a groundbreaking smartphone app called Circadian AI that can diagnose heart disease in just seven seconds—simply by analyzing heart sounds using artificial intelligence.
Siddharth, who is one of the youngest AI-certified professionals in the world, holds certifications from Oracle and ARM. His app has already been tested on over 15,000 patients in the US and 700 in India, demonstrating 96% accuracy.
The app was showcased at the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit in Hyderabad, where Siddharth emphasized that his goal was not to build the most advanced diagnostic tech, but to make life-saving tools accessible to under-resourced communities.
Circadian AI was also rigorously tested at the Government General Hospital in Guntur, India, where it proved effective in delivering fast and reliable diagnoses.
The rise of artificial intelligence: A double-edged sword for humanity
Siddharth completed middle school at Lawler Middle School in Texas and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas.
