Prize money for PSL X announced
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the prize money for the upcoming 10th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is set to commence on April 11.
The tournament will feature six teams competing for the Luminara Trophy and a prize of $500,000 for the winners.
The runners-up will receive $200,000, according to a PCB statement.
The Luminara trophy was unveiled last month in an exciting three-minute video filmed along Karachi’s coast.
The PSL 10 will kick off with a star-studded opening ceremony at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, featuring performances by renowned Sufi artist Abida Parveen, singer Ali Zafar, and Young Stunners, along with Abrar ul Haq, Natasha Baig, and Talha Anjum.
Defending champions Islamabad United will face two-time champions Lahore Qalandars in the first match of the tournament.
The PSL 10 will consist of 34 matches from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including both Eliminators and the final, while Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13.
Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches. Karachi Kings will start their PSL 10 campaign at home against Multan Sultans on April 12.
