The Meteorological Department has forecasted hot and humid weather for Karachi today, with light rain expected in various suburbs of the city.

Clouds are likely to gather over areas such as Bahria Town, Gadap, and the M-9 motorway, where local developments could trigger light showers.

Residents are currently facing significant discomfort due to rising temperatures and high humidity levels.

The temperature in Karachi is recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, though it feels like 33 degrees due to humidity.

Today’s maximum temperature could soar between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, with the hot conditions further intensified by clear skies and strong sunlight. Winds are blowing from the west at approximately 14 km per hour.

The humidity level stands at 69 percent, adding to the muggy atmosphere. However, the anticipated rain in suburban areas might provide temporary relief from the heat.
