Accident claims lives of two PPP workers near Larkana
A tragic accident occurred on Ratodero Road near Larkana when a van transporting workers of the Pakistan People’s Party overturned allegedly due to speeding while returning from the anniversary of slain former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals from the Qambar Shahdadkot district, while seven others sustained injuries.
According to police reports, the van was en route to Qambar from Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto when it lost control and flipped over at the Ratodero location.
The victims have been identified as Irfan and Zain-ul-Abidin Tenyo, with the van’s driver also among the injured.
Emergency responders from police and Rescue 1122 promptly arrived at the scene, transporting both the deceased and the injured to the Trauma Center in Larkana. The victims hailed from various villages within Qambar Shahdadkot.

In the aftermath of the incident, Jameel Soomro, a member of the Sindh Assembly, visited the Trauma Center and instructed that immediate medical attention be provided to the injured.
He expressed his condolences to the affected families and assured that comprehensive treatment for the injured would be guaranteed.
