In Lakki Marwat’s Langar Khel Paka area, armed terrorists entered a mosque, leading to an exchange of fire with locals. Before the police arrived, locals engaged in negotiations with the militants and released them on the condition that they would not return, Aaj News reported on Wednesday.

The terrorists swore on the Quran that they would not come back to the village, the report said.

According to police, armed terrorists stormed a mosque in Langar Khel Paka, prompting an exchange of fire with locals. As the situation escalated, the police were alerted, but before they could intervene, the locals opted to negotiate with the militants.

Negotiations lead to release

During the discussions, an agreement was reached where the terrorists pledged not to return to the village. Following this assurance, they were allowed to leave. Police sources confirmed that the militants swore on the Quran as a guarantee that they would not revisit Langar Khel Paka.
