Scorching heat or surprise showers? Here’s what to expect this Eid!
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast dry weather across most regions of the country during the Eid ul Fitr holidays, with hot conditions persisting in the plains.
According to the PMD, Islamabad and its surrounding areas will experience dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Most districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab are also expected to remain dry, with strong winds possible in parts of Punjab. Sindh will witness similar dry conditions, with some areas experiencing gusty winds.
In Azad Kashmir, the weather will remain dry, while Gilgit-Baltistan will see partly cloudy conditions with a chance of thunderstorms and rain at isolated locations.
Balochistan will largely remain dry, though the southern districts will experience warm weather. Recorded temperatures include Quetta at 7°C, Kalat at 5°C, Ziarat at 4°C, Zhob at 8°C, Sibi at 16°C, Turbat at 19°C, Nokundi at 14°C, Chaman at 12°C, Gwadar at 21°C, and Jiwani at 22°C.
