Multan’s Gilani House provided extra security, woman arrested after threats

In response to threats against Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani, security has been reinforced at Gilani House in Multan and a woman has been arrested.

The police have also registered a case.

According to police, the threat came from unidentified individuals targeting Gilani and his family.

The Cantt Police have registered a case based on a request from Gilani’s personal secretary, Zargam, and an investigation has been initiated.

Zargam reported that a threatening message was received on his mobile phone from an unknown sender.

Police spokespersons have stated that they have allegedly arrested a woman connected to the incident. Ongoing investigations are in progress to uncover more details about the threats.
