In the Federal Capital, a speeding dumper overturned, crushing several vehicles underneath, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to four others.

According to the police, the tragic traffic accident occurred on IJP Road due to a burst tire of the speeding dumper. The sand-laden vehicle lost control, collided with multiple cars, and ultimately overturned onto a rickshaw.

Among the four casualties were three men and a 15-year-old girl. Upon receiving the report, rescue teams and police swiftly arrived at the scene.

The driver fled the scene, while the bodies and injured individuals were immediately shifted to the hospital.

Islamabad’s Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) were also arrived at the site. The accident occurred in the Sabzi Mandi police station jurisdiction.

According to the spokesperson, a total of four people lost their lives and four others were injured in the accident. The deceased included three men and a young girl. The injured were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Islamabad’s Deputy Commissioner (DC) stated that the fugitive dumper driver will be arrested soon, while the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) confirmed that efforts are underway to remove the dumper and restore traffic flow.

Expressing sorrow over the tragic accident, citizens have urged the authorities to implement stricter safety measures for heavy traffic on the roads.
