Blast near Barech Market in Quetta leaves three dead, 21 injured
A powerful explosion near Barech Market in Quetta claimed the lives of three people and left 21 others injured, including four police officers.
The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
According to police, the roadside blast occurred as a security forces’ vehicle was passing by.
The explosion caused a nearby motorcycle to catch fire and damaged several parked vehicles.

Rescue and emergency teams swiftly reached the scene while security forces cordoned off the area to investigate the nature of the blast.
This attack comes amid a wave of violence in Balochistan.
Last night, unknown gunmen in Gwadar’s Kulmat area stopped a passenger bus and opened fire, killing five people on the spot. Another victim succumbed to injuries during treatment.
In another incident in Mastung, unidentified assailants fired on a vehicle, killing a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officer and injuring another person.
Armed attackers also torched a vehicle near a Levies checkpoint.
President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the attacks, stating that terrorists are enemies of national progress and Balochistan’s stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also denounced the violence, calling it an act of barbarism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, and other officials expressed their condolences to the victims’ families.
Similarly, an attack happened on March 12 on the Jaffar Express as security forces stated that terrorists used explosives to derail the train before opening fire. The attack resulted in multiple fatalities, including the train’s driver.
