Mufti Abdul Baqi critically injured in armed attack in Quetta
Injured scholar has been shifted to the hospital in critical condition, say rescue officials
Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Abdul Baqi was critically injured in a gun attack on Airport Road in Quetta.
According to details, unidentified armed assailants opened fire, leaving Mufti Abdul Baqi severely wounded.
Rescue officials confirmed that the injured scholar had been shifted to the hospital in critical condition.
Meanwhile, a heavy contingent of police arrived at the scene following the attack, and investigations into the incident are underway.
