Indian boxer assaults husband inside police station
Former Indian boxer Sweety Boora was caught on camera assaulting her husband, kabaddi player Deepak Niwas Hooda, inside a police station.
The footage, which surfaced on social media on Tuesday, has gone viral.
According to Indian media reports, the incident occurred on March 15, but the video only came to light recently.
Boora had filed for divorce, alleging that Hooda was harassing her for money and had physically assaulted her.

In the viral video, Boora is seen grabbing Hooda by the throat while engaging in a heated altercation. Family members present at the scene intervened to break up the fight.
Boora stated that she had informed the Hisar police chief on March 11 that she no longer wished to stay with Hooda. She insisted she only wanted a divorce and the return of her belongings.
Hooda, on the other hand, claimed that he was called to the Hisar police station on March 15 for questioning when he was suddenly attacked.
The couple, who married in 2022, are both distinguished athletes and recipients of the prestigious Arjuna Award.
Boora is a former world champion in the middleweight boxing category, while Hooda is renowned for his performances in the Pro Kabaddi League.
