SHC refers Sahir Hasan drug case to constitutional bench
The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered that the drug possession case involving Sahir Hasan, son of a well-known actor, be referred to a constitutional bench.
The next hearing will take place before the designated bench.
During the hearing of Sahir Hasan’s bail plea, the court determined that the case fell under the jurisdiction of the constitutional bench and directed its transfer accordingly.
The proceedings have been adjourned until March.
The defence counsel argued that the accused remains in judicial custody, facing allegations of drug possession.

According to police records, Sahir Hasan was arrested on February 22 from DHA Phase 6, and five packets of weed (ganja) were recovered from his possession.
The court has instructed that the case be presented before the constitutional bench for further proceedings.
