Gold rates drops in local, intl markets
Gold prices in Pakistan fell again on Saturday, reflecting a decrease in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs318,000 after a decline of Rs800 in one day.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs272,633, reflecting a decrease of Rs686, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The international gold rate also fell on Saturday, with APGJSA reporting a price of $3,022 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a $9 decline for the day.
On Friday, the price of gold per tola had decreased by Rs2,000.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in Pakistan remained steady at Rs3,475 per tola.
On Thursday, the price of gold per tola had risen.
