Arrest warrants issued for actress Nazish Jahangir in Rs2.5 million fraud case

A judicial magistrate in Lahore Cantonment has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for actress Nazish Jahangir in a Rs2.5 million fraud case, ordering her immediate arrest and presentation before the court.

The order was passed by Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Shabbir Sial on a petition filed by actor Aswad Haroon.

The court directed the Defence-C police to ensure Jahangir’s arrest and appearance in the next hearing.

The case was registered on Aswad Haroon’s complaint, who resides in the Defence area. Jahangir faces charges of criminal breach of trust, fraud and issuing threats.

According to the petition, Jahangir allegedly took Rs2.5 million and a vehicle from the complainant for two months but failed to return them.

The petitioner claimed that despite lodging a police complaint, he was not given justice and requested the court to ensure the return of his money and vehicle.

Police officials confirmed that the case includes fraud-related charges and involves multiple suspects, including Jahangir and Sikandar Khan. The court has ordered all accused, including Jahangir, to appear on March 22.
