Gold prices take a sharp dip in Pakistan after four-day surge
After four consecutive days of rising gold prices, the upward trend has finally come to a halt in both global and local markets. In Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,000, bringing it down to Rs318,800, according to the All Sarafa Association.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs1,715, now standing at Rs273,319, while 22-karat gold is priced at Rs250,551 per 10 grams.
In the international market, gold prices also registered a notable decline, with a $19 drop per ounce, settling at $3,031.
This decline follows a consistent surge in gold prices over the past few days, marking a significant shift in the market trend.
