Fire erupts in Karachi building’s basement on Sharea Faisal
Officials state that they have largely controlled the fire and expect to fully extinguish it soon
A fire has broken out in the basement of a building on Sharea Faisal in Karachi.
Fire officials reported that several people are trapped inside the building, and rescue efforts are ongoing.
At least four fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene.
The fire started in a ground-floor office and spread to the first floor.
Officials stated that they have largely controlled the fire and expect to fully extinguish it soon.
Officials said that once the fire is extinguished, they will begin rescuing those trapped inside.
