LHC dismisses petition on bikers’ lane expenses as ‘inadmissible’
The Lahore High Court has dismissed a petition concerning the expenses related to a bikers’ lane established on Ferozepur Road, declaring it “inadmissible”.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Aalia Neelam stated that the court would not entertain baseless petitions.
She warned the petitioner that a fine of 50,000 could be levied for wasting the court’s time.
The High Court office had previously raised objections regarding the petition’s admissibility.
The petitioner claimed that the bikers’ green lane project was created to prevent road accidents and involved significant public funding.
However, he noted that the paint on the bikers’ lane washed away after the first rainfall.
