Throughout the district, there will be 49 religious gatherings (majalis) and seven mourning processions, all under tight security.
As part of the security plan, seven licensed majalis and four mourning processions are scheduled in the City Circle, while 15 majalis will be held in the Sadar Circle of Okara.
The Renala Police Circle will host 15 majalis and one mourning procession, while the Depalpur Police Circle will conduct 12 majalis and two processions.
District Police Officer Rashid Hidayat has deployed over 500 police officers and personnel to provide extensive security coverage.
Search and sweeping operations have already been carried out along the procession routes, with special snipers assigned for increased vigilance. All nearby streets and markets will be completely sealed off to eliminate any security threats.
