Jaffar Express attack: Images of slain terrorists surface after clearance operation
Images of the terrorists killed during the successful clearance operation following the Jaffar Express attack have emerged, confirming that they were equipped with foreign-made weapons, security sources said.
According to security officials, the photos depict terrorists eliminated near the train, highlighting the precision and effectiveness of the operation.
The attack unfolded when militants targeted the Jaffar Express, a passenger train travelling from Quetta to Peshawar, and took multiple passengers hostage in a coordinated assault.
Before security forces intervened, the hostages were divided into three locations, with suicide bombers placed among them to maximise damage.

US, China condemn terrorist attack on Jaffar Express in Balochistan
Talking to a private TV channel, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), provided key details regarding the attack and the subsequent rescue operation.
“At 1pm on March 11, militants detonated an explosive device near the railway track in Bolan, forcing Jaffar Express to halt. They then stormed the train, took passengers hostage, and remained in contact with their handlers in Afghanistan,” he said.
Security forces swiftly launched an operation, eliminating all 33 terrorists and securing the safe release of the hostages.
“Unfortunately, before our intervention, the terrorists had already claimed 21 innocent lives,” DG ISPR stated. Four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were also martyred in the operation.
