New Zealand cricketer Glenn Philips has stated that he had “awesome couple of weeks” in Pakistan while participating in the ICC Men’s Champion Trophy 2025.

Philips took to his Instagram page, writing, “What an awesome couple of weeks it has been in Pakistan and Dubai.”

He further added that although the final result was not what they desired, the experiences and the determination they displayed throughout the tournament were remarkable.

“Super proud of this group [India] and maybe that trophy isn’t too far around the corner,” he added.

His catches included two leaps that dismissed Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli in the match against India.

India, captained by Rohit Sharma, triumphed in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, securing victory over New Zealand in the final held at Dubai International Stadium.
