Torkham border tensions: Afghan jirga reaches Kabul with a special message
An Afghan jirga has arrived in Kabul carrying a special message regarding the ongoing tensions at the Torkham border.
According to sources, a 25-member delegation met with senior Afghan officials to discuss the escalating situation.
The jirga leaders are expected to persuade Afghan authorities to halt construction activities within Pakistani territory near the border.
Following the discussions, the Afghan representatives will convey their stance to the Pakistani jirga in the next round of consultations.
