Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts Karachi weather to remain hot
The weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot on Monday (today), with temperatures likely to rise to 39 degrees Celsius, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The weather in the city was hot and dry. The maximum temperature recorded was 37.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday while the minimum temperature was noted at 20.5 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the air was at 70 per cent, the Met Office said. Winds were blowing from the northeast at a speed of six kilometres per hour.
The air quality in the city was reported to be “unhealthy,” with an air quality index (AQI) indicating that the level of particulate matter in the air reached 186 at 9:50am.
