Google Doodle celebrates Women’s Day
Google celebrated Women’s Day on Saturday, highlighting the women’s contribution and success in the Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) field.
According to Google Doodle website, “women represent only 29% of the global STEM workforce.”
Google has altered its logo with a doodle that depicts a revolutionised space exploration, uncovered ancient discoveries, and pioneered lab research.
This Doodle honors International Women’s Day, which the United Nations recognized in 1975 to emphasize the significant contributions of women worldwide.
“Their work represents the ongoing progress towards gender equality, yet STEM remains one of the areas where significant gaps still persist,” it said.
