PTI leader Faisal Javed offloaded from flight to Saudi Arabia
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Javed was stopped at Peshawar Airport and offloaded from a flight en route to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
Speaking to the media, Faisal Javed stated that the Peshawar High Court (PHC) had ordered the removal of his name from the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), allowing him to travel.
However, FIA officials barred him from boarding the flight, which he called a violation of court orders.
Court order defied?
Faisal Javed claimed that he presented the court’s order at the airport, but FIA immigration authorities ignored it. “This is a blatant contempt of court,” he said.

Earlier, the Peshawar High Court issued a two-page order instructing authorities to remove Faisal Javed’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
The court allowed him to perform Umrah, stating that law enforcement agencies could reassess his case upon his return.
The order further noted that Faisal Javed had already been acquitted in some cases, reinforcing that his name should be removed from the travel restriction list.
