Painter kills widow for mobile phone in Lahore
In a shocking crime over a mobile phone, a painter in Lahore murdered a 65-year-old widow and mother of four by first knocking her unconscious with a wooden rod and then electrocuting her.
Police have arrested the suspect.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused, identified as Azeem, had been working as a painter in the victim’s house in Harbanspura.
Spotting her expensive phone, he planned the murder.

SSP Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Naveed, stated that Azeem first struck the victim, Shakeela Fazilat, on the head with a heavy object before electrocuting her in the bathroom.
After the murder, he also stole a sack of rice from her home.
The police recovered the stolen mobile phone and rice from the suspect’s residence. Further interrogation is underway.
