The government and the Petroleum Dealers Association have successfully concluded negotiations, leading to the withdrawal of the planned strike.

According to sources, Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr Musadik Malik held talks with representatives of the Petroleum Dealers Association, with the Chairman of OGRA and officials from the Ministry of Petroleum also in attendance.

During the discussions, petroleum dealers strongly opposed the proposal to deregulate fuel prices.
