State Bank of Pakistan announces new banking hours for Ramazan
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced revised banking hours for the month of Ramazan.
An official statement announced that banks will be open from 9am to 3pm Monday through Thursday without breaks.
On Fridays, the hours will be from 9am to 12:30pm.
For public transactions, banks will operate from 9am to 2pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday services ending at 12:30pm.

The SBP spokesperson confirmed that all commercial banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and microfinance banks will adhere to the updated schedule during Ramazan.

Earlier, the Punjab Education Department announced new school timings for the duration of Ramadan.
In a similar situation, Islamabad High Court issued the court timings for the month of Ramazan, including those for both the high court and district and sessions court.
