Bodies of six Pakistanis from Libya boat tragedy arrive at Bacha Khan Airport
The bodies of six Pakistani victims of the Libya boat tragedy have arrived at Bacha Khan Airport.
According to police officials, the ill-fated vessel carried 16 individuals from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including six from Kurram, who lost their lives in the incident.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the bodies could not be transported further today and will be airlifted to their hometowns by helicopter tomorrow.
Earlier, Minister for Housing and Works Riaz Hussain Pirzada received the bodies at Islamabad Airport.

Expressing his condolences, he stated that the February 5 tragedy had left many families mourning.
He assured the bereaved families that the government stands by them at every level and is making all necessary arrangements to return the remaining victims’ bodies to Pakistan as soon as possible.
Efforts are also underway to repatriate the 37 surviving Pakistanis stranded in Libya.
Pirzada emphasised the dangers of illegal migration, urging young people to avoid such perilous routes to Europe.
He called on them to pursue legal means for overseas travel to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
The identified victims include Mansoor Hussain, Shoaib Ali, Abid Hussain, and Musab Hussain from Parachinar, as well as Muhammad Ali Shah from the Orakzai district.
So far, the bodies of 16 Pakistanis have been identified, while 10 remain missing.
The government continues to coordinate with Libyan authorities to locate and bring back the remaining victims.
