Pakistani actor Bushra Ansari received the Star of Pakistan Award at a prestigious ceremony in a committee room at the UK Parliament, making her the first female drama actor from Pakistan to achieve this honor.

Ansari was presented with the award by MP Yasmin Qureshi, who also hosted the event organized by the British Asian Society and Samara Events UK.

Upon receiving the award, Ansari emphasized how Pakistani dramas play a significant role in showcasing the country’s culture, traditional clothing, and the Urdu language in the UK and globally.

She took to her Instagram page, writing, “So happy to recieve the honor at British parliament today ! Thank you God.”
