Two blood samples found, one matches with girl in Mustafa murder case: investigative officer
The investigating officer in Mustafa Amir murder case has claimed in the Anti-Terrorism Court that two blood samples from the suspect’s house were collected and one of the blood samples was linked to a girl identified as Zuma.
Zuma is the third feminine name to surface in the case that has been making headlines. Earlier, Mustafa’s mother claimed her son was killed over a dispute involving a girl named Marsha. Sources also named a girl Angila in the case.
Police has been interrogating Armaghan and Shiraz, two man arrested in connection with Mustafa Amir’s murder.
Before the court in Karachi on Saturday, the investigative officer reported that one sample from the crime scene’s carpet matched the DNA sample of Mustafa Amir’s mother – the plaintiff in the case – suggesting that it was Amir’s blood.
He said the second sample belonged to another person, who is thought to be a girl named Zuma.
The officer stated that the suspects, Armaghan and Shiraz, were questioned while in police custody, and they revealed that Zuma was attacked in the same room “the day before the incident.”
The investigating officer told the court that he wanted to further interrogate the suspects to find Zuma and obtain her blood sample for DNA testing.
Further investigation revealed that Armaghan is “wanted in multiple cases” registered at Boat Basin, Clifton, Darakhshan, and Seaview police stations.
Additionally, it was reported that Armaghan was operating an illegal call center and warehouse, and efforts to locate his accomplices, including an individual named Nauman, are ongoing.
Investigations into money laundering charges against Armaghan are also underway.
The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has granted a five-day remand for the prime suspect Armaghan in the Mustafa Amir murder case, handing him over to the police for further investigation.
Investigators have disclosed that the conflict leading to his death arose from a dispute involving a girl. The girl, identified as Marsha, fled the country on January 12.
Background
The case revolved around the alleged kidnapping and murder of a DHA youth Mustafa Amir.
He had been missing since January 6 and was allegedly murdered by Armaghan and Shiraz, who later burned his body along with his car.
Further revelations have come from Armagan’s friend, Shiraz, who claimed that Mustafa and Armagan had a dispute over a girl during New Year’s Eve. The disagreement led to Armagan luring Mustafa to his house under pretenses on January 6, where he violently killed him.
The suspects then transported his body in the car’s trunk to Hub in Balochistan, where they set the vehicle on fire. Initial investigations indicate that Armaghan and Shiraz were responsible for burning the car and disposing of the body.
Meanwhile, police recovered modern weapons from the suspect’s residence, and the Counter-Terrorism Department has been assigned to trace their origin.
The AVCC police requested FIA assistance in analyzing data from a laptop seized from Armaghan’s bungalow.
Additionally, a disturbing audio recording has surfaced, reportedly Mustafa’s last, in which he tells a friend that he was heading to Armagan’s house and suggests that his friend should join him after finishing his work.
A string of shocking criminal activities came to light that Armaghan was a seasoned offender involved in extortion, kidnapping, drug dealing, and illegal possession of weapons.
