The International Cricket Council (ICC) has admitted an error after Pakistan’s name was missing from the Champions Trophy 2025 logo during the broadcast of the India vs Bangladesh match.

During Thursday’s game in Dubai, viewers noticed that the event logo shown on the broadcast did not include Pakistan’s name, leading to widespread questions.

However, during the previous day’s match between Pakistan and New Zealand, the logo featured Pakistan’s name as expected.

Addressing the issue, the ICC acknowledged a technical glitch as the cause.

An ICC spokesperson stated, “The omission was due to a graphics-related technical issue, which will be rectified from tomorrow. It was not possible to change the logo during the match.”

The spokesperson further clarified that Pakistan’s name remained visible on the logo in ICC’s social media clips, and the issue was limited to the live broadcast graphics.

This admission comes amid growing scrutiny over tournament branding and presentation, especially with Pakistan hosting the Champions Trophy 2025.
