The German Consulate General in Karachi has announced that it will be closed from February 19 to 21 due to scheduled maintenance.

“The visa section will also be closed for all services including passport collection and new applications,” the consulate said in a Facebook post.

Last year, the consulate closed its services for non-European Union citizens until further notice. It did not mention any reason for that. But already issued visas for non-EU citizens were allowed to be picked up.

Germany is one of the top destinations for international students, including those from Pakistan.
