Four Pakistanis rescued from human traffickers in Iran
In a joint operation, Pakistani and Iranian authorities successfully rescued four Pakistani citizens from human traffickers in Iran.
The Pakistani Embassy in Tehran, in coordination with Iranian authorities, carried out a targeted operation against the traffickers, leading to the safe recovery of the victims.
The rescued individuals have been identified as Ghulam Mustafa Tabassum, Muhammad Sohail, Muhammad Arsalan and Muhammad Khurram.
Security officials arrested the human traffickers involved in the abduction. The victims had legally travelled to Iran before being kidnapped by the traffickers, who subjected them to torture and demanded a hefty ransom from their families.
Timely intervention saves lives
Thanks to the swift action of the Pakistani Embassy and the Iranian government, the victims were rescued before any further harm could be inflicted.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, urged Pakistani travellers to use legal channels when visiting Iran.
He advised citizens to stay in contact with the embassy in case of emergencies and to remain vigilant against human traffickers.
The rescued individuals expressed their gratitude to the Pakistani Embassy and the Iranian government for ensuring their safe return.
