Gold prices surge in Pakistan following international market increase
Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant rise on Wednesday following an increase in global market prices. The price of gold per tola surged by Rs3,800, reaching a new historic high of Rs308,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,258, bringing it to Rs264,060.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association, the price of gold had already risen by Rs1,000 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs304,200.
On the international front, the price of gold stood at $2,944 per ounce, marking a $34 increase, with an additional $20 premium included.
Last Friday, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan had touched a record high of Rs306,200.

Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs90 to reach Rs3,440 per tola.
