One killed in remote-controlled bomb blast in Bajaur
A remote-controlled bomb blast in Bajaur, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand Division, claimed the life of a local resident.
According to police, the explosion took place in the Joragha Aseel Targao area of Barang Tehsil, where unknown militants had planted the device. The victim has been identified as Wilayat Khan.
Bajaur District Police Officer (DPO) Waqas Rafiq stated that no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
He added that investigations are underway, and authorities have launched operations to apprehend those responsible.

It is worth noting that Bajaur, a tribal district bordering Afghanistan, has frequently witnessed targeted killings and improvised explosive device (IED) attacks.
Such incidents often target tribal elders, as well as members of religious and political groups.
