Social media is occupied by the revelation that Pakistani actor Mariyum Nafees’s husband, Amaan Ahmed, was previously the son-in-law of Pakistani actress and comedian Bushra Ansari.

Nafees shared a picture of her passport while traveling to the USA for the delivery of her first baby, which ignited trolls on her posts.

In the comments, a social media user claimed that Nafees’s husband is a US citizen and the former husband of Bushra’s daughter, Meera Ansari.

Following this claim, users began investigating Meera’s past, leading to the surprising discovery that Ahmed married Bushra Ansari’s daughter in 2000 and they have two children together.

In November 2020, Meera got remarried in New York, and she is currently living with her children.

Nafees tied the knot with Ahmed in an intimate nikkah ceremony in March 2022.

Bushra Ansari has often expressed regret over her daughter’s first marriage and talked about her daughter’s second husband with respect and dignity.
