Cold, dry weather forecast across most of the country

Isolated northern areas may experience cloudy conditions with rain, snowfall

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted cold and dry weather in most regions over for Monday

However, isolated areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may experience cloudy conditions with rain and snowfall.

This morning, temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad and Lahore at 13 degree Celcius, Karachi at 19 degree Celcius, Peshawar at 16 degree Celcius, Quetta at 6 degree Celcius, Gilgit at 3 degree Celcius, Murree at 2 degree Celcius, and Muzaffarabad at 7 degree Celcius.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, similar cloudy weather with potential rain and light snow is anticipated in areas such as Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula.

The temperature readings in these areas were: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramula at 5 degree Celcius, Jammu at 12 degree Celcius, Leh at -4 degree Celcius, and Pulwama and Shopian at 4 degree Celcius.
