Govt raises petrol and diesel prices

Prices of LPG have also been increased

The Pakistani government has announced an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol prices have risen by Rs1 per liter, while diesel prices have increased by Rs7 per liter.

The new price of petrol is Rs257.13 per liter, and the new price of high-speed diesel is Rs267.95 per liter. These price adjustments will take effect at midnight tonight and will remain in place for the next 15 days.

This announcement follows a recent price increase for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced a Rs3.68 per kilogram increase in LPG prices, resulting in a Rs43.52 increase per cylinder. This price hike will come into effect on February 1st.
