Gold prices decrease in Pakistan a day after massive increase
The 24-karat per tola gold price decreased by Rs200 and was sold at Rs289,400 on Saturday against its sale at Rs289,600 on previous trading day, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said.
The rate of 10-gram 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs172 to Rs284,113 from Rs284,285 whereas that of 10-gram 22-karat also went up to Rs227,445 from Rs227,603.
Prices of per tola silver decreased by Rs32 to Rs3,409 whereas that of 10-gram silver went down by Rs20 to Rs2,922.
The gold price in the international market decreased by $2 to $2,770 from $2,772, the association added.
