PTI members advise Aleema to take over party

PTI leaders have voiced concerns about a lack of internal balance under the current leadership

Sources within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) reveal that several party members have advised Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, to assume leadership of the party. These leaders reportedly believe Khan’s active role and family connection make her a suitable candidate to address current internal divisions.

The advice, according to sources, was given during a meeting with Aleema Khan. The leaders reportedly expressed concerns about the prevalence of dynastic politics in Pakistan, suggesting that transforming the PTI into a truly democratic party is proving challenging.

PTI leaders have voiced concerns about a lack of internal balance under the current leadership, claiming that conflicting directives are leading to poor decision-making. The November 24th protest, they contend, failed due to such flawed decision-making.

Major (Retd.) Iqbal Khattak is quoted as saying that the conflicting directives are leading to incorrect decisions, citing the November 24th protest as a prime example of this failure.

This latest development follows a series of reports indicating internal disagreements within the PTI leadership. The party has previously issued show-cause notices to several leaders, further highlighting the internal tensions.
