Suspect arrested in alleged gang-rape of MPhil student in Lahore
Punjab Women’s Police have apprehended the primary suspect, Haseeb Afzal, in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a female MPhil student in the Muslim Town area of Lahore.
Authorities are currently conducting raids to locate two additional suspects, identified as Talha and Hamza.
Initial investigations indicate that the victim met Haseeb through social media.
Police reports suggest that the suspects not only assaulted the victim but also recorded videos of the incident.
The victim has undergone a medical examination, with the results expected to provide further clarity on the case.
