Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli set to make Ranji Trophy return
Virat Kohli is poised to return to the Ranji Trophy, marking his first appearance in the tournament in 12 years, ESPNcricinfo reported.
The star batsman has confirmed his availability to play for Delhi in their final group-phase match against Railways, scheduled from January 30 to February 2.
Delhi’s head coach, Sarandeep Singh, confirmed the development to the sports news outlet.
Kohli had previously informed the BCCI medical staff of his recovery from neck pain, which required an injection earlier this month.
Several other prominent Indian players, including Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, would also participate in the upcoming matches.
