All Pakistanis now need polio vaccination to travel to Saudi Arabia

Certificates older than six months will not be accepted.

The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced a mandatory polio vaccination requirement for all passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan.

The new regulation, effective immediately, requires travelers to present a polio vaccination certificate upon arrival.

According to GACA, the certificate must show that the passenger received the polio vaccine within the past four weeks, but no more than six months prior to travel.

Certificates older than six months will not be accepted.

Airlines have been notified of the new rule and warned that failure to comply will result in legal action and penalties. The GACA is taking this step to protect public health and prevent the spread of polio within the Kingdom.

Passengers are urged to ensure they have the necessary documentation before commencing their journey to avoid delays or refusal of entry.
