Cold, dry weather to be expected across country, forecasts PMD
The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has predicted that cold and dry weather is anticipated across most regions of the country for next week.
Mainly cold and dry weather is anticipated across most regions of the country. Hilly areas will experience very cold conditions during the morning and night hours. Northeast Punjab may see moderate to dense fog in patches, while shallow to moderate fog is expected in southern Punjab and upper Sindh during the same times. Additionally, rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms is forecasted for southeastern Punjab later in the night on today.
Cold and dry conditions will persist throughout the country, with very cold temperatures and partly cloudy skies in the upper regions and north Balochistan. Isolated rain is probable in northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and nearby hilly areas. Moderate to dense fog may affect isolated locations in south and central Punjab, as well as upper Sindh, during the morning and night hours on Saturday.
On Sunday, the PMD predicted cold and dry for most parts of the country, while very cold conditions will linger in the upper regions and north Balochistan. Isolated rain is forecast during the morning in Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas.
