Fatal collision on Indus Highway leaves two education officials dead and one injured

A collision between a truck and a car on the Indus Highway resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left a woman injured, according to Rescue 1122 reports on Wednesday.

The incident involved the vehicle of Ghulam Fatima, the Female District Education Officer (DEO) of South Waziristan, which collided with a truck in the Darra Pezu area.

The driver, Alauddin, and clerk, Tamizuddin, both died on the spot. Tamizuddin was identified as a resident of Landi Jalandhar, while Alauddin hails from Dera Ismail Khan.

Ghulam Fatima sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to District Headquarters Hospital in Lakki Marwat before being referred to Peshawar for further treatment.
