Karachi experiences intensifying cold with temperatures dropping
Karachi is currently experiencing a drop in temperatures, with readings at 10 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 8 degrees Celsius recorded late at night.
The Meteorological Department reports that the weather is cold and dry, with the current temperature at 10 degrees Celsius and a forecasted maximum of around 26 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels are at 37%, accompanied by light winds from the north.
Looking ahead, the department predicts a decrease in cold intensity starting January 9, as a system of westerly winds is expected to move into Balochistan, potentially alleviating the chill in Karachi.
